Dye color changes in sunlight with Tulip Color Change Dye! Great for allover coverage and tie-dye techniques on 100% cotton fabrics. Take your finished project into sunlight and watch as the color changes from Pink to Lavender and Blue to Seafoam! Includes 2 (2 fl. oz.) bottles of Color Change Dye, 2 protective gloves, 10 rubber bands, and project guide.
Use in a well-ventilated area. Always test for best results.
Preparation:
Start with clean, dry fabric (do not use fabric softener). Place wax paper or shirt form between layers of fabric to prevent color from bleeding through.
Cover work surface and adjacent areas.
Instructions:
Shake can well for at least 1 minute. Hold can 6-8" from fabric and spray with smooth, even strokes. Shake often during use.
Apply one light coat at a time, waiting 5 minutes between coats. Add additional coats for desired coverage and intensity.
Let dry 30 minutes. Fabric can be washed inside out with mild detergent on gentle cycle after 72 hours. Tumble dry low.
Turn can upside down after use and spray 5 seconds to prevent clogging.
Tips & Tricks
Several light coats are better than one heavy coat.
Use pre-made stencils or create cool graphics on fabric with masking tape and contact paper/freezer paper shapes.
